talking to myself

well, yeh talking to myself again...hello earth calling anyone??...well today I am alone at home again cos Edwin has gone to Kl to attend court. There is nothing to do on sunday here so its just watching TV and more TV. Why dont I just tell you more about what I do on Thursdays.
I look forward to everyday as i know I will have a good time sharing and learning about GOD. ...of course I must say i enjoy the fellowship and the food. We start by chatting about our week and family and oh....lots of other unmentionables here. then when most of us have arrived we start our worship by singing hymns. We sort of sing the same songs most of the time as our talent is limited. But sister Appolonia has helped us to learn a few new ones. She's a blast and has livened our party by some. She plays the guitar too. Go sister go!!!.
After exercising our vocal cords we read the bible, reflect, share side tract to other topics....untill our mighty leader , Winnie steers us back on track. Then we pray some more, sing "Give Thanks ' and the ..what else?.... eat. Some of the ladies are goos cooks, some like to try new recipes , so we as 'guinea pigs'....oooophs....friends I mean...eat with no questions asked....all for the good of our organ called the stomach.....well, the waist pays the price for the greed of our mouth, lots of bodily cooperation here, dont you think?
What happened to our dream of singing like a choir? Well it went down the gut with the rest of the food...hehehe...poor Juan, our singing teacher.
Like all ladies group, we have a mix bag of 'know it all', ' think I know it all', 'dont know much', 'nothing to share today' , and of course, the ' when is lunch?'.....apologies if I missed anyone out. What ever you may think we all get along like a house on fire, though sometimes, the flames can get too big. So far we havent thrown shoes at anyone like in Taiwan. We range from grandmothers, grandmothers wannabe, mother in laws, mums with no married kids, mum with teenagers ( god help them) and lastly the, all of the above mums. We share so much that at times it gets so hilarious that ....we sometimes wander whether we are there to praise god or attending a therapy session. Whatever it is, alls well as I am sure god is having fun too with us. Wanna join us?
