Home sweet home

It's so good to be home. nothing beats sleeping on your own bed when your body feels like it has gone to Disneyland and back after riding on all the roller coasters 10 times..... If you get my drift. my lower back feels like I had been stepped on by a mammoth.....so much for going on a holiday. Its not the road trip that tire us out, it was the plane journey that took forever there and back.

I must say the 2 weeks there was interesting and fun and filling....food!!! the food on the plane was nice....surprise , surprise!. hurray for Royal Brunei. I only wish that their connecting flights was more convenient. We had to wait in Brunei for 8 hours to catch a flight to 20 min flight to KK. Your Majesty do something!!!!!!!

We did all the touristy sights so we walked a lot, a lot, a lot....now I have muscles on my thighs......move aside, Sylvester Stallone!!!

4 days in London was more than we could take. So when we left, no one was sad, its too crowded in London with tourists.

We set up base in Oxford with two very nice people. they extended their warm hospitality and made us feel at home. Of course it helps that their home is so nice. Then we drove to Scotland. We stayed in Edinburgh and did more touristy things. We drove up to St. Andrews
To the home of GOLF. had a pub lunch and drove back to Oxford all in 1 day. ....mad!

then we did more interesting touristy things in Oxford. The men went to play golf so Morgan and I had chance to go shopping. Nothing to buy as it's all autumn and winter stuff on sale. went to the famous Biscester Village where one can find all the branded stuff. Wow! Suddenly I felt like I was in China....they were everywhere.....I think money grow on trees in China. I didn't find the place enticing . We have Star Hill and Pavillion in KL and KLCC. People actually come by the bus loads to shop there, no kidding.

Lorena, our friend took us punting. She taught the boys the art of punting. They enjoyed it vey much. No one fell in the river but Jordan lost his pole. It got stuck in the branches of a tree by the bank....hahaha. We managed to retrieve it and continued on without much ado.I must say the best punt man is Sheldon.

We drove to Cardiff to visit another friend. Had tea and left promising to visit again. Then we shot off to visit Noel at Hatsfield. Took him out for dinner. Had Chinese of course!!! By this time we had burgers coming out of our ears. Rice and fried egg would have been heaven sent.

The flight home was ....aihhhhh uggggg.....couldn't sleep a wink so I watched 5 movies. ....oh, I love my home.

The twins couldn't wait to start uni. So we drove them there on 3/10. Spent a few hours with them and left later then planned.

And so our 2 week vacation soon came to an end. We were tired and ready to go home.
