Uk in the rain

we have been in England for 11days now. we have had more rainy days than sunny ones. But still we have had a blast with the kids driving every where....in the rain. Luckily we have the $2 raincoats that I bought from Servey.

Noel was the first to be dropped off, literally from the airport. He is settling in well. He starts today. We have visited him twice already to take him out for a good meal.

We dropped the twins off yesterday. They can't wait to start this new chapter of their life in uni. So with great sadness we left them to settle in. Today we are going shopping in Oxford . Since I have a lot of weight left, I can consider getting an elephant home...hahahah.

We have had nice food to eat so guess my fancy jeans won't fit for now. Luckily I brought my old pairs. Starting Thursday I have to eat porridge/water/vege/fruits.

The boys didn't like London as it was too crowded with dodgy people......people everywhere you look, tourist from Europe mainly. But like good tourist we visited a lot of historical sites, on foot!......Of course we took the tube there first....£5.60 per person per day all day pass.

We stayed at Travel Lodge . The charges are very reasonable for central London. Anyway after a two days Edwin got used to the £ so, he didn't feel that it is soooo expensive as we thought. A bottle of mineral water ,small bottle cost 89p. Food cost on average £5 pp per meal.....hamburgers. £5 for charsiew/siewup fan in Chinatown in London, so not too bad. The portions are huge.

Ok, got to go now......shopping, bye
