Sadness is in the air

one is never prepared for the lost of a loved one.Never is too mild to describe the untimely passing of a great human being, my brother in law Edmund Chong. he was such a good man that we all ask " WHY ". I am afraid there is no answer. Only God knows. We have to accept it and thank God that we had him for 54 years. So many people came to honor him and to pay flowering tributes to his life his deeds and his infectious smile.

I can hear his voice calling me " aunty Viola" and me answering " hello uncle Edmund" In fact I collected coffee from England so that when he next visit me I have his favorite drink ready.

The family is still in disbelieve even though he was finally put to rest yesterday. Now his family has to make a very big adjustment to life without him. Tears flowed till the tank is empty. Our hearts broke into tiny unsaveable pieces. We keep using his name in our conversation as if he is still around. Such was his infectious happy personality left in our hearts forever. I am so blessed to have been given the privilege to be his sister in law.

None of us will recover from this loss. We have to believe that God had a reason. Love HIM and love the life He has blessed us with.
